Mr. MacLellan joined Meketa Investment Group in 2013. A Senior Vice President of the firm, he serves as the consultant for various Taft-Hartley and public fund clients with defined benefit pension plans as well as health and welfare funds. His responsibilities include investment policy design, asset allocation modeling, in addition to manager and fund performance assessment.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior associate in the Fund Oversight group at State Street Global Advisors covering all of the company’s unregistered commingled funds and their associated investment products. His experience there spanned a variety of asset classes and investment strategies ranging from full replication indexing to fully active absolute return mandates.Mr. MacLellan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Economics and Political Science. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of both the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
